About Me
My name is Jordan Comas. I am from Jamaica Queens, New York. I always knew I wanted to become a dental hygienist from the time I joined the U.S. Navy all the way back in 2017. I had always admired this career path for both it's autonomy and general health promotion aspects.
I joined the Navy and chose the job of a dental assistant where I worked consistently for 4 years garnering dental knowledge while simultaneously working on my prerequisites for Coastal Carolina Community College's dental hygiene program. Upon being accepted in December of 2021, I worked diligently for two years cultivating knowledge from seasoned instructors and dentists while also honing my own skillset in order to provide the greatest standard of care possible to my patients.
Overall, as a dental hygienist, I have the privilege of helping people achieve and maintain healthy smiles while promoting their general health and well-being. It's a profession that allows me to make a tangible difference in my community!
